Yap Voicemail Discontinuation - FAQs
On October 20, 2011, Yap Voicemail will be discontinued. To restore your phone’s original voicemail, please dial the appropriate code directly from your phone:
- AT&T: ##004#
- Sprint: *38
- T-Mobile: ##004#
- Verizon: *73

1. What do I need to do to restore my phone's original voicemail?
To restore your phone's original voicemail, you MUST dial ##004# (AT&T users) or *73 (Verizon users) or ##004# (T-Mobile users) from your phone. IMPORTANT: Deleting the Yap Voicemail application from your phone will NOT restore your phone's original voicemail.
2. How can I transfer my voicemail messages that are currently in the Yap Voicemail application?
You can open an individual message and tap the 'Email' button to send yourself a copy.
3. When will the service terminate?
Yap Voicemail will cease operating October 20, 2011.
4. What will happen when callers attempt to leave a message after the termination date?
Callers will receive a a recorded message saying that "Voicemail is no longer available for the user you dialed."
